Day 4 and I swear I didn’t skip the weekend days! I drew my daily drawings but didn’t quite make the time to write blog posts! (Going to have to factor that in coming weekends).

Usually the process with these drawings was pretty much entirely done in the tablet but today I started with a small sketch on some paper, imported the drawing after scanning it on the ‘ol scanner and dropped the lines on top. A nice change of pace if I do say so m’self~

Today’s song is soundcloud (w/ sailor valentine) by fcjwas and as far as I can tell it’s about soundcloud itself so I almost immediately pictured someone walking listening to music on it and thinking about the platform I suppose. Not the most super creative idea but hey it was enough to draw something with it hahah

Technique wise I really just wanted to try a different way to make the tree look… tree-y on my Day 2 drawing I just drew lines upwards and it seemed a bit sloppy so this time I put a couple white hairlines on the tree. Looks a bit better imo.
